Classroom Policies

Classroom Behavior Plan:

Within the classroom students use the Red, Yellow, Green System using a stoplight. Students who are focused and listening to instructions are ready to be a good learner and a stick with their name on it is in the green circle. All students start the day in the green. If a student gets off task, or needs a few reminders about acceptable classroom behavior, they must move their stick to the yellow. The consequence for this is a loss of five minutes of playtime. If students continue to not obey classroom rules, or the teacher deems it necessary the student can be moved to red. This will result in the loss of their whole next playtime. During this time they will have to sit at their desk and think about their decisions that led to them being in red.
