Welcome to Miss.Ellis' Homepage

Who I am and What I believe

My name is Rebecca Ellis, but the students know me as Miss Ellis or Miss E. I graduated high school from North Rose- Wolcott in 2008 and went on to get my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary and Special Education grades 1-6 from Niagara University. I also received a Literacy minor will at Niagara University my studies. I graduated in 2012 and got right to work. I spent January 2012 to April 2012 working as a long term substitute in fifth grade and then moved to substituting in every other grade for the month of May.  I am currently working as a first grade teacher assistant for the 2012-2013 school year.

Outside of the classroom I have assumed the role of Varsity Cheerleading Coach for the first year. After the day is done I go right off to practice and have a lot of fun with some older students. Be on the lookout for our clinic to be hosted later in the year.

In September 2012 I started to work on my Master’s Degree in Literacy Education Birth through grade six. I love learning more about how to better serve the needs of my students!

I believe in the message that "to teach is to touch lives forever". I know that there are certain resources that I have found that I can share.
